Since 1989, Serov Academy of Fine Arts (SAFA) has been Dhaka's premier center for classical fine arts education — blending Russian realism traditions with Bangladeshi creativity. Affiliated with the Russian House (Russian Centre of Science and Culture), we nurture talent through drawing, painting, and cultural exchange.

Our Focus: Classical Realism & Beyond

We teach timeless skills in observation, proportion, light & shadow, color theory, composition, and expressive brushwork. Inspired by Valentin Serov — master of portraiture and realism — our programs develop technical excellence while encouraging personal artistic voice.

Students of all ages (junior to senior) explore mediums like pencil/charcoal drawing, watercolor, oil painting, and more in supportive studio classes held Fridays & Saturdays at our Dhanmondi (Russian House) and Green Road campuses.
